What activities are available?
Currently, we offer primitive tent camping, hunting & casual fishing. RV/Motorhome sites coming in future.
There are more fishing opportunities close by in town at Long Pond State Forest, Genegantslet Creek, & other places.
NOTE-ATV camping is a thing, consider trying it here if you've never done it before!
Is hunting allowed on-site?
Yes, hunting is permitted during designated seasons. Please check local regulations and obtain necessary permits.
Can I bring my RV?
Currently, we have only a medium size parking lot in the front of the property, so technically yes you can, but there are no hook-ups there.
Soon we will have a larger driveway cleared into property to accommodate larger vehicles.
Can I bring my ATV/Quad?
Absolutely, just be safe.
What amenities are provided?
None just yet, but there is a beautiful creek bordering the land that you utilize water from if you like. For hunters needing a place to stay, there is a hotel in nearby Town of Greene, called the Sherwood. Link below-
Are pets allowed?
Yes, pets are welcome, you can bring a T-Rex if you like, just keep things clean & safe for everyone around.
How do I make a reservation?
Reservations cant be made through our website just yet, but you can easily call, text or email and we will set you up. Afterwards, payments can be done through the site at a set price per day, or we can e-mail you a Paypal link.

ATV's/Quads welcome, we know they are fun & also come in handy!
If using a firearm, the safest firing direction is to back of property, south. SSE to be exact. Land is situated NNW-SSE.
Tree stands/blinds welcome. In future we will install a permanent 2 seater stand as a courtesy to our guests.

Camping Info
Use a prepared tent site or choose your own spot.
We recommend a spot near the creek, but you can go anywhere within the property boundaries.
FYI-as you head toward back of property, elevation is lower, more level, relative to the creeks water.
In future, we will have water supply, electric and septic for RV's.
We welcome those that want to try ATV camping, so bring your quads, head out into the woods, and make some memories.
Fishing Info
The creek on the property here offers some seasonal casual fishing, but there are also close-by resources with more opportunities for fishing, such as Long Pond State Forest, (has ice-fishing also), Genegantslet Creek, & more; but if your just camping out with the family, and the season is right, you should be able to just drop a line in our creek (Strongs Brook).
Long Pond State Forest Fishing Info
Chain pickerel, largemouth bass and tiger musky are the main game fish found in Long Pond. Black crappie, yellow perch, bluegill and pumpkinseed sunfish can also be found in the pond. Long Pond is a very popular ice fishing location. A former State record tiger musky was caught in Long Pond in 1983.
Nearby Strong Brook (bordering our campground), and Pond Brook are trout streams that course through the forest. The 28-acre glacial Round Pond also has fish to tempt anglers. Long Pond is stocked annually with approximately 350 tiger musky. Statewide fishing regulations apply.
